Lycée français international Jules Verne de Riga (then – Jules Verne Riga French school) was established in September 2007 by the initiative of the French Embassy in Latvia.

Implementing the programs and practices of the French National Education, Lycée français international Jules Verne de Riga delivers intercultural education that is focused on multilingualism, openness, personalized support, creative development, and 21st-century skills. Our teachers are highly professional native speakers of French and other languages, selected for their expertise and experience.

In 2011, Lycée français international Jules Verne de Riga entered the network of the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE). School is monitored annually by the AEFE inspectors of the National Education, reassuring the effectiveness and conformity of the teaching methods.

Lycée français international Jules Verne de Riga is managed by the association of student parents—APECEF.
